History
Since 2004, the PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee has been one of the most exciting stops on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule, producing champions such as World Golf Hall of Fame member Hale Irwin (2005), Jeff Sluman (2008, 2009, 2011), Kirk Triplett (2012, 2013, 2019), and Bernhard Langer (2017).
Building Game Changers
By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, First Tee creates active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
The 78 juniors are selected by a national panel of judges based on their personal growth and life skills learned through First Tee’s programs, as well as their playing ability.
